The Midsummer Station- Review (Track by track)

As you probably know, I am a HUGE fan of Owl City & Adam Young, so I decided to do a track by track review for "The midsummer station". A lot of the songs I already reviewed here so check that out to get the full track by track review.

1. Dreams and disasters: This song is very motivational, it is also a very upbeat party song. I like this song because it is about how we have to keep going to get to our goals.

2. Shooting Star: The lyrics this song reminds me of Katy Perry's "Firework". It is very motivational and upbeat. Its about how you can shine as bright as a shooting star.

3. Gold: This song is telling you that what we got is "Gold". That we can shine forever!!!I love this song, its very upbeat and tells us that EVERYONE can shine!

4. Dementia (feat Mark Hoppus): This song is such a fun song, I think this is a good song to listen to over again so that you understand it.

5. I'm Coming After You: This song is super upbeat. After I heard the first chorus I sang along!!! I would totally blast this at a dance or party. It is about chasing after someone, kind of like a police officer.

6. Speed Of Love: This song is very interesting, he is talking about how fast the speed of love goes. How the speed of love is faster than the speed of light.

7. GoodTime (Feat Carly Rae Jepsen) If you haven't heard this song all over the radio, something is wrong. I have heard this song play on the radio ALL THE TIME! This song is a fantastic, "pick me up" song and it is guaranteed to get you into a good mood. My favourite thing about this song is that they aren't talking about drinks, or drugs, just about a good time!!!

8. Embers: This song talks about all of us uniting, and how we can't let the fire die. We have to keep on going, to chase our dreams.

9. Silhouette: This song is so sad. It game me the same chills as "lonely lullaby". This song is about loneliness and being alone and the pain about that. Its about regrets, its about regretting so much you just wish you could forget all of it.

10. Metropolis: This song, as I discovered is talking about the city "Metropolis". This song is upbeat and very happy. He is talking about leaving his heart in Metropolis. He doesn't want to leave Metropolis.

11. Take it all away: This song is upbeat and very interesting. It has a good beat and it is about "Taking is all away".

12. Bombshell blonde: This song is insane!!! It is super upbeat and it is just a fun song, the lyrics are funny and I hope this song makes it on the charts so they can play it at dances!!! SO IMPRESSED!!

Overall, although this album is a big change from his previous work, I still like it. I know how his previous work was so amazing, and creative but this is what he is enjoying doing at the moment so we should be happy. We don't want him doing something he doesn't want to do.

I FINALLY watched the art of getting by!!

Let me tell you one thing: those critics are wrong, dead wrong. This movie, was worth watching. I think it was a really well done, quirky romance. Although Sally didn't have much of a character, I still think the film proved its point well. Would recommend.

Diary Of A Wimpy Kid Dog Days Review

I have to admit, I did not enjoy the first of the Wimpy Kid Series. To be exact, I didn't really like the first movie, but loved the book. I started liking the second and now, I am so impressed by the 3rd. I couldn't stop laughing!!!

The story is about Greg, who is so excited for summer to start. One problem: all he wants to do it play video games and hang out with his crush Holly Hills. And there are more problems, like his brother rodrick and his dad. Through hilarious obstacles, Greg tries to maintain his cool and get what he wants-- encountering many, many more problems.

I have never been a fan of gregs character in general, but the actor who played him (Zachery Gordan) was pretty good. I was also impressed with Rowely's performance (Robert Capron). Karan Brar, Steve Zahn and Devon Bostick also played great performances in the film.

This movie was funny!!! There were some moments where I was laughing so hard. I found this surprising because I did not laugh at all in the first 2, but this one was nonstop laughter. I think it is because we could relate in some way of what he went through, and the frustration of being a preteen.

Overall this movie is a fantastic family movie, probably the best family movie I have watched all year and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good summer laugh!!! B

Never Let Me Go- Review

Its been 7 hours since I watched Never Let Me Go, and the movie is still haunting me. Just thinking about it brings fresh tears to my face. This movie was one of the most haunting, moving movies I have ever watched. At the same time, it is beautiful.

Never Let Me Go stars Kiera Knightly, Andrew Garfeild and academy award nominee Carey Mulligan. The movie is about a girl who watches as her love Tommy and Ruth fall in love. She has loved Tommy forever. But there is something bigger that is going to take a hold of all of them.

The acting was amazing, every person played out their role with such emotion that you had to feel for all of the characters and what they were going through, you had to forgive them and forget fast because of the way they played them out.

The story was the type of romance and drama that would bring tears to your eyes. It is the type of story to haunt your dreams every night and to remember forever. It really puts the fact that you have to live your life as best as you can, or it may slip away.

I would recommend this to anyone, I think it is outstanding and it can teach everyone a lesson about life and love. Oh my gosh, I am tearing up now. Such a beautiful movie.  A

50/50 Review

50/50 is a bittersweet comedy about a 27 year old who gets Cancer, and his struggle with friends, family and love along the way.

The thing that drew me to it was that it was based on a true story- something like this actually happened and it is happening right now. But instead of looking at it in a bad way- all the good parts are squeezed out of this event-Cancer.

This film could've been horrible because of its mix in-between emotions, happiness and sadness. But the director and cast seemed to balance out the feelings in this movie.Rogan's character was probably my favourite in this movie because of his ability to cheer up Adam.

I really did enjoy the way this film was shot, every shot seemed to carry emotion to me in several different ways. The different style of focusing the camera. The closeups on the actors or actresses. That type of technique was different than what we are used too and it was good.

I enjoyed the script and the dialogue. The movie was not unrealistic, but not too "Close to life". It had something that made you feel good "In between the lines". It would;t have been the great movie it was without the great job of the actors and actresses. There wasn't one character that I wasn't disappointed in. The characters were real and seemed to carry their emotions and feelings to us, the audience.

50/50 is a movie about beating the odds, but its so much more than that. Its a movie about family, friendship and coping with sudden disasters. Its about making mistakes and falling in love. This is what makes it a good movie, it covers all of that but with humour. And Heart. A

The Lying Game VS Pretty Little Liars

The hot author Sara Sheppard has come out with tons of little books about big secrets, and these secrets have turned into real- T.V shows. Both Pretty Little Liars and the Lying Game have turned into hit T.V shows by abc family.

Pretty Little Liars has by far been the most popular of the two series, the suspense factor of Pretty Little Liars overpowers the one from The Lying Game by far. Another thing with the liars is that it has mutiple storylines going on with each girl, so their is more of a point of view to each one then the Lying Game, when the majority of the series is from Emma's perceptive. Pretty Little Liars also has more popular actresses who have recently been featured in lots of movies, are brand ambassadors  or were just there for a long time, The Lying Game doesn't have that advantage.

http://www.daemonstv.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/pretty-little-liars-season-2-poster.jpg
The 4 Liars advertise season 2

The Lying Game has some advantages over Pretty Little Liars, but some disadvantages. A good thing about this series, is that most girls can probably relate to the main girl, Emma she is very down to earth and surprised with all of the glitz that belongs to Sutton.Another thing is that the message, whatever it was was nicer then the one that Pretty Little Liars did, this Girl hasn't done anything really bad (Like make out with her teacher...).But the disadvantage is that this has been done before, I have seen so many of these Twin Switching-Lives things that it starts to get boring after awhile. Another thing is that there wasn't much clarity in it. Everyone seemed to have a secret, and I was confused. At some times it just seems like they made this into a series just for fans of Pretty Little Liars.

Sneaking Around in The Lying Game

Overall, I am kind of stumped, although they sound similar they seem to be different. I think that Pretty Little Liars would win, because of its origionally. The Lying Game is just too been there done that, but it does come pretty close to Pretty Little Liars.

I would really want to know which one you liked better!! Just comment and tell me which one is better and why!

The Smurf's Review

http://www.shockya.com/news/wp-content/uploads/the_smurfs_movie_still1.jpg
The Smurf's Take on our modern world.

I watched the Smurf's today, don't ask why. But half way through, I guarantee anyone over 12 will want to Smurf. But the movie still delivered decently, if you are the right audience.

The movie has the same type of premise as the Christmas hit, Alvin and the chipmunks , following the easter movie Hop. The movie is basically about Smurf's, creatures from a magical land. They go through this portal, into our world, but they have to get home to escape from an evil wizard.

Although this is just a kids movie, it stars some really big stars including Neil Patrick Harris, Jayma Mays, Katy Perry, Sofia Vergara & George Lopez, which were made to make the movie "More". Like the 2 movies, Alvin and the chipmunks and hop, they both feature animation in a real action setting. Another similarity is that they also have human aids in their journey, and seem to mess up the human lives.

The thing that made the movie over-the-top was the use of some words. The Smurf's had this song, lalalala, which was so smurfin' annoying. They would sing it so often, my little brother was dancing along, but I was burying my head out of annoyance. Also, they say Smurf as so many words, this is made fun of in the movie. They use it as a verb, noun, adjective and swear word. Adults get the hint here.

The good things about this movie was that it had a lesson, and people would be able to enjoy this lesson, it also had many small giggles and laugh moments. The humour seemed to be in crashing into stuff as well.

Overall the movie Smurfs, is a good movie, it delivers, but in a little blue annoying mess. It gets annoying and you get annoyed, but the little kids will really enjoy it, and in the end, thats whats important, after all they are the Smurf's target audience. C+

Friends With Benefits Review

The movie Friends With Benefits tackled the same concept that lots of movies in cinemas are doing, the idea of friends- with benefits.

Mila Kunis and Justin Timberlake play up their awesome chemistry in
Friends With Benefits.

This movie is about Jamie and Dylan, who recently broke up with their boyfriend/girlfriend, they are emotionally damaged, and then they meet each other. They don't want to commit to a serious relationship, so they do it on a "Friends with benefits" basis.

This movie seemed to be pretty dirty, but you can't be surprised because the whole idea is dirty. Theres about 26 uses of the F word, and other words. But there is no full nudity, but butts, which I am grateful for.

I really enjoyed the acting, Mila Kunis and Justin Timberlake really put something into the movie, which helped the movie get along. I really enjoyed Emma Stone play Justin's past girlfriend, she was really funny . Patricia Clarkson, who plays the crazy single mom, and Woody Harrelson really did stand out to be acting wise.

Another aspect of the movie that stood out was their chemistry, face it- Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis seem made for each other! They played out the different stages in their relationship so well, and they seemed to click.

Friends With Benefits is a funny movie, theres no doubt about it, but there's something thats missing. Maybe its not heartfelt enough, or maybe its too silly. But I would recommend it for people who like that kind of movie. C+

Our Idiot Brother Review

Paul Rudd takes on the screen as ned.
https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhD3inbpAKyYJl5hKnjSjA0_jFOR9061fE-CYrWaeN7R1WDMA9tjJmzvt-1DfQ48mJo7RSwLylxSS145_vrnEl6VFJ6mJPjplDrxv-rzl-CtC4yfb-hBFJBBYBHbHukR4dL8GOXylnv_ROj/s1600/My+Idiot+Brother+Movie+%25284%2529.jpg

The movie is basically about a man, named Ned. He isn't really the smartest guy in the world, but he cares. One day when he sells drugs to a police officer, he goes to jail. When he finally gets out of jail, he has no where to go, seeking somewhere to stay, he stays with 3 of his sisters, and goes through many bumps in the road.

Having big stars like Paul Rudd, Elizabeth Banks, Emily Mortimer and Zooey Deschanel, plus the creaters of the hit comedy Little Miss Sunshine, yes thats where this movie seems familiar from, same style of movie, you would expect this to be cheesy, but it isen't.

First of all, even though this might not sound that bad, in between the sweetness, there is lots and lots of F words, meaning different things, there is also nudity, but no full parts are shown.

I enjoyed the acting from this movie, Paul Rudd plays Ned really well and really shows us lots about Neds personality, also the actresses who played the sisters all played really different characters, but played them well.

This is definatly not a movie like the Hangover, in between all the dirty jokes, there is a lesson, a lesson that is visiable to everyone who watches. See the world with open eyes and that trust is key to anything.

Our Idiot Brother bears many resembles to "Little Miss Sunshine" , there is lots of family involved and family problems, it also looks at the positive side of things. Overall, Our Idiot Brother is a great movie to watch, I left the theatre smiling. B

Lemonade Mouth Movie Review

This is a little late, considering the movie came out a while ago, but I just thought I would review it.

Lemonade Mouth is based on the book by Peter Hughes, it is a movie about a group of very different people. One day Olivia (Brigit Melder), Wen (Adam Hicks),Stella (Hayley Kayoko), Mo (Miami Scott) and Charlie (Blake Mitchael) all meet one day in the least likely place- detention. They then begin expressing the one thing they have in common- music. After they discover that they make a pretty good band. The main idea is that it doesen't matter if your popular or not, everyone can make a difference.

Even though this was a classic disney channel musicial, it has something to it, something that High School Musical diden't have, it had a certain type of friendship feeling to it, maybe it focused more on the friendship than the romance, which I prefer.

I have to say for a disney movie, the acting was really well done. Brigit Melder has always been a good actress and she played the role really convinclingly. I am also surprised with Adam Hicks, who plays in Zeke and Luther. He really stepped up to play this role, and I was pleasantly surprised.

The only thing I am confused with is that there are still knots untied at the end, they introduced romance and then did nothing with the romance, which I find kind of pointless, why have it at all then?

Overall Lemonade Mouth is a good family movie, I would recommend it because of the story, the acting and the message! B

Teen Spirit Review

Teen Spirit is a movie trying to prove a point that was already proven, but trying to make it a twist for the modern audience, in a Mean Girls , sort of way. But this movie does not come to Mean Girl's status, and not even darn close to that. With Lindsey Shaw and Cassie Scerbo, two girls that made their big debuts on T.V shows such as Pretty Little Liars and 10 Things I Hate About You, there is a reason why this show stayed on the small screen.

Cassie Scerbo and Lindsey Shaw get all glammed up, to get one simple crown.
http://www.daemonstv.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/TEEN-SPIRIT-ABC-Family-18-550x366.jpg

The movie opens up with the popular girls, these girls are so unrealistic, in every way. No one will be able to relate to them at all, they are obsessing over some "Crown", then we see the unpopular girls, they are a little more relatable, but still, no. There is no personality to these characters, we don't see who they really are, its like we don't know anything about them. The popular girl, Amber then dies, like that. Why? Because she got electrified when trying to reach for her prom crown, they are trying to make this funny, but it really isn't, this girl is so stupid, and its sad. But as the movie goes on, we soon discover everyone is laughing over Ambers dead body. After, ambers spirit, is set on a task, for her not to go to hell, she has to make the unpopular girl, become popular and be the Prom Queen.

The script is simply awful, it is so predictable and really boring, and really lacks originality. The characters are really bland and are just the normal girls, nothing special. It seems like its trying to make us laugh, in awkward ways, that just cause more silence.

The acting isen't much better, Lindsey Shaw did a good performance, but I felt like I was missing a lot of points from her character, Cassie Serbo on the other hand, seemed like she was trying way too hard to play her character, it improved later on in the movie though, but it just seemed like she didn't see any personality in her character. The only thing that is good is their chemistry on the screen, the ending scene  with them was really well done, because they did show emotion.

Overall, this movie doesn't prove anything, its missing what Mean Girls had to make it a success, and its just doing the basic, Unpopular girl becomes popular, and stays that way, nothing special and totally missable. C-

Winter's Bone Review

Just recently I decided to rent Winter's Bone , I wanted to see what was in this movie, the movie that won the sundance film festival.
Jennifer Lawrence plays an Oscar worthy role in Winter's Bone

Winter's Bone is a movie about a girl, played by Jennifer Lawrence who discovers that she needs to find her drug-dealing father and she then goes through social terrain to do it.

This movie had incredible acting, every actor& actress who played in this movie did a phenomenal job. Jennifer Lawrence did an incredible job, which is why Hunger Games fans should not be disappointed in this decision, she plays a very similar character to Katniss in the Hunger Games and she is amazing playing her, don't worry fans.

Another thing about this movie is that the plot was unpredictable, I didn't see anything coming before it happened. This movie was a perfect nominee for the oscars, not for the obvious reasons.

Overall this was a great movie, and I would recommend it to anyone who likes this sort of movie, some people won't be able to follow it, but im sure they would still be able to enjoy it. Ether way, Winter's Bone is a film masterpiece.

Crazy, Stupid, Love Review

Crazy, Stupid, Love, a movie that I didn't know what to expect from, a cheesy comedy or a heartfelt laugh? With stars Steve Carell, Julianne Moore, Ryan Gosling, Kevin Bacon & Emma Stone, the movie sold lots of tickets for these big stars, and seeing this movie, was worth every penny.

The movie revolving around a man, Cal who had a perfect life- until his wife asks for a divorce. Spending nights alone at a bar, getting drunk he meets Jacob who helps him discover and find his "Manhood" and to start getting other woman into his life. A lot more goes on in the movie then that, but that is the main part of the movie.

In this movie, the acting was really well done, I really liked all the stars in this movie because it seemed like they put a lot of emotion into the acting, and made their characters believable. Steve Carrell did a great performance and was really funny, along with Julianne Moore even in the saddest of scenes. Emma Stone, who did an awesome performance in Easy A, did a great performance in this movie with Ryan Gosling & Kevin Bacon was funny as well.

I also enjoyed the camerawork in this film, I really liked the way that the backgrounds were really fuzzy, the camera would focus on the character, and fuzz out the background really well. This is an element that made this movie unique and different compared to other comedy movies out in the theatres.

Another thing is that the movie was really funny, there were parts when I was laughing, not just smiling like I did in Hop, or other supposed comedy movies. Kids can understand some jokes in this movie as well.

Overall, I really enjoyed this movie and I would watch it again. I would reccommend this to anyone looking for a good movie, it beats Horrible Bosses by far comedy wise and manages to make the movie funny- but not dirty, something not much movies can do these days. A-

You Again- Review

Last night I decided to watch the movie You Again , while lying on the couch. Being board.
The movie You Again is a movie about a girl, who went through a lot of bullying in High School, especially from this girl named JJ . She becomes very successful in the future, but then she discovers that her brother is marrying JJ!

I am sure lots of people or girls can relate to this type of movies, majority of schools have that one girl , that lives to make others miserable and none of us would want this person marrying their brothers.

Although this is a romantic comedy, I don't see much of ethier. It had its few laughs, but practically no romance. Also I could see everything coming and knew how the film was going to end so it really wasn't that special.

The acting was decent, with the all star cast including Kristen Bell & Betty White, it sure made it better then it could've been.

Another thing that I liked about this movie was the revenge factor, I mean I was rooting Bells character the whole movie with her revenge on JJ, the movie seemed to say that you should put it behind you, but if this girl ruined her life, shouldn't there be some justice?

Overall this movie is for fans of heartfelt, laughs. Otherwise, choose another movie. C-

Rise Of The Planets Of The Apes Review

Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes, the highly anticipated prequel to the famous "Planet Of The Apes" series, was sure to be a major blockbuster and money grabber.. But was it really worth it? My answer: Yes, for sure yes!

With a star studded cast including James Franco (127 Hours) , Freida Pinto (Slumdog Millionaire) & The Famous Tom Felton (Harry Potter), this movie proved to have more than visual effects up its sleeve. The acting was really well done, it really seemed real, considering the apes were all animation.

Tom Felton... Who plays Draco Malfoy in Harry Potter did a fairly good job, although he did play a similar or almost identicial person as Draco Malfoy, only those fans would be able to point out the differences (Including me).

The visual effects- oh the visual effects, they were incredible, it is from the team that did Avatar, the apes looked SO real and at some points were frightening as well. This would've been great in 3D because at some points it seems like some things are popping out at you!

Another thing, the scenery. I loved it when they showed the shots in the park and of the apes climbing the trees, that was really cool.

The best thing this movie did, it made you see the world though the Apes eyes, it made you see the world through human eyes. The movie didn't take a side, it made you choose to take a side, with the humans or the apes, not much movies can do that and I can say that this one did that successfully.

Overall this is a great film, not just for fans of the previous series, but for people looking to find a good movie, especially one with good action. This prequel is sure to be one that can't miss. B+

Flipped Movie Review

Today I decided I would watch the movie “Flipped” , I chose to watch this movie because I read part of the book before I had to return it and I thought it had a really cool idea.

To start, the movie is about a girl, Julie and a boy Bryce. Julie met Bryce when he moved to town and she started to like him, so much that even he knew- and it  is annoying him. Growing up into 8th grade, things start to get complicated....
First of all- I diden’t watch it because of the romance, I don’t really like romance. I watched it because of the idea, we hear Bryce talk about what happenned that day in his point of view, then it is switched to Julies point of view of the same event. I generally think that is really cool, because we get to see both of their point of views, which can be like telling two different stories really.
I have to say, the plot really wasen’t original , except for the point of view of the different people. I really thought that girl likes boy thing has been done a lot of times, but the author gave it a little twist, which made it a really cool movie.
Another thing, from the different point of views, things seem to happen really conditionally between them, thats very unlikely, (eg when Julie thinks about how she should clean up her yard, Bryce tells her that her yard looks like crap).
I did enjoy the photography & lighting in this movie, I thought it was personally really cool and that it really helped us feel the story in a way that words coulden’t.
Overall this is a good movie, I would give it a thumbs up and I would rate it THUMBS UP!

The Adjustment Bureau Review

Last night I watched the movie "The Adjustment Bureau". Here is my review:

The movie "The Adjustment Bureau" is a movie with a cool new concept: People controlling your life, and your fate. The movie starts with a man (Matt Damon) who is in politics, one day he meets a woman (Emily Blunt) who he runs into the next day, then he discovers that he wasen't supposed to see her again. Following him, mysterious forces try to separate them as he makes his way to find her again. Get the plot on imdb here.

The Adjustment Bureau kept me hooked, I literally couldn't stop watching. The acting was well done, as Matt Damon and Emily Blunt delivered solid performances, and the whole concept was mind blowing and stayed in your mind afterwords.

It was a very original plot and I guess that in the future more movies will come out with a similar concept as this film. The script was well done and I was very impressed, although it was pretty romantic, but not to the extreme.

The music was good, but I have to highlight the strongest point in the film: The script. The script was what brang it all together into a great film! I wish I would've watched it in theatres because it would've been way cooler then renting it and I would've felt more of the action!

Overall I would recommend this movie to anyone wanting a good movie, its great for kids as well and they will understand it too!! A-

Scream Movie Review

This morning I decided to watch Scream. Yeah, I have never watched Scream before. Here is my review.

Scream is a slasher film about a girl (Sydney) who seems to be targeted by a killer, ghost face. There is lots of killing and blood, but it still wasn't "Scary", just frightening and things pop out at you!

What I have to say about this movie is that it isen't just horror, its more horror with dark comedy and mystery. Throughout the movie we are guessing who this ghost face killer is and the motifs for the killer.

The music in the movie was like typical horror movie music, and did give some of the fear into the movie.

The movie was unpredictable, suspenseful and I had no idea who the killer was!!!Overall this movie is a good movie for scary movie fans and people who like the whole "Pop out at you" aspect in movies, but in this movie everything is taken too lightly, the deaths and the murders are talked about amoung the characters like they are ordering pizza. It's just unreal. . B-

Hold On 'Til the Night Greyson Chance Album Review

Today at 12:00 in the morning, Greyson Chance released his debut album: Hold on till the night- and I fell asleep, so when I woke up at 8:40, I bought the album instantly from itunes! This album is a mixture of pop and alternative, but classified as pop on itunes. Even though Greyson Chance is a 13 year old, this album will be sure not to disappoint.

The only complaint I have is that his songs light up the dark, stars and broken hearts are not on this album, I was hoping they would be featured, but saying that the songs that were on the albums were really good and they gave me a break from all this mainstream pop.

1. Waiting Outside The Lines: This was Greyson's debut single, and as soon as I heard it I fell in love with his music. This actually has meaning, live your life to the fullust. Don't look down on tomorrow, just do what you want now. Follow your dreams.

2. Unfriend You: His second single, this song is basically about Facebook, he is going to go on Facebook and "Unfriend" the girl he is talking about because she is a liar! His voice really is shown off in this song!

3. Home Is In Your Eyes: This song is really beautiful, and sad. This shows Greyson missing someone from home. Its a really nice melody.

4. Hold On Till The Night: This song is the strong, energetic song on this record. Greyson even said that it was made to tell his fans to not be afraid.

5. Heart Like Stone: This song is saying that his heart feels is stone because he is hurt. He is trying to keep himself from getting hurt. The tune is really original.

6. Little London Girl: This song is about him meeting someone, a girl in London. This girl is all rock and roll. This song is really upbeat, energetic, light and fun! Its one of my favourites on this album!

7. Cheyenne : This song is very soulful and slow. He is asking a girl , Cheyenne not to break up with him because he loves her. I don't like the slow beat on this song, but im sure soul music lovers will.

8. Summertrain: This is my favourite song on the album, it is so easygoing and relexing, it makes me forget my worries and just relex. Its a really awesome song!

9. Stranded: The sound is very interesting on this song, he wants to be "stranded" on an island with the girl. It's very fun and catchy!

8. Look at me now: This song is really cool, one of my other favourites. It is telling people how he has changed and those who never believed in him, look at him now! He came up with a pretty awesome album! This song means a lot to me because it is inspiring to anyone who wants to be something, or do something. You have to start small, and dream big!!

9. Slipping Away: This is about someone slipping away from him, he is trying to get his grasp on the girl, but she keeps slipping away, a little more every day. This is a great song!

Overall, I will give Hold On Till The Night an 8.5/10 , this album was an awesome album and I would recommend it to anyone wanting to have an album with a variety of different styles of songs! We are so proud of you Greyson!

Cowboys & Aliens movie review

Today I saw the movie Cowboys & Aliens. The movie is basically about 2 things: Cowboys and Aliens. When I saw the trailer when seeing Harry Potter p1, I had to see this movie, and I was anticipating it for the next 8 months! When this film was discussed people were saying things like "Cowboys and Aliens! They don't belong together!". But this film proved that they can be together successfully!

The movie was executive produced by Steven Spielberg, the master director. But just because he executive produced it, doesn't mean it is really Speilberg. This is more of a action western.

The music is the movie was good, but didn't convey a lot of emotion. The camera angles were O.K , but I think that they could have been done better.

The thing I would complain about is its originally, the idea is original, but what happens is more of a been-there-done-that sorta thing, I have seen stuff like this before.

On the positive side- the special effects were really well done. The Aliens were very well- creepy but not too much to scare you. The ships and lighting was done very well and it really helped with the development of the story.

Overall Cowboys & Aliens is a must see for western fans, but the only thing keeping the movie elements up is the originally of the basic idea: Cowboys & Aliens. B-
