This weekend I have been obsessed with the band Florence + the Machine (Florence and the machine)!!  I love the song Cosmic Love!!! I also love Dog Days Are Over!!! They are all around AMAZING!!! 

Book:

Right now I am reading the book Flipped!!! Its actually pretty interesting!! it may be considered a love story, but I don't like love stories that much but I still think this book is interesting!!

There is also a movie for it, I haven't watched it but It looks pretty good :)...Comment below if you have watched it!!

Soul Surfer Review

Hey guys, I saw the movie Soul Surfer on Saturday and here is my review:

Before I saw Soul Surfer I looked up reviews for it and some of the critics reviews were bad for this movie, so I went into the theatre expecting a bad version of the amazing book that Bethany Hamilton wrote. But I have to say I was surprised. The movie was amazing.

The girl who portrays Bethany Hamilton is AnnSophia Robb (Race To Witch Mountain, Bridge To Terabithia). She was simply amazing in this role. She played her so convincingly!! I really felt like she was Bethany Hamilton and she seemed to be able to portray how Bethany really felt!!

Also the fact that the writers and director of the movie were able to use movie techniques to make the storyline unpredictable was awesome. Before the shark attack, they try to make us think that it is at certain parts of the story, just to scare us. They use lighting,camera angles and music to scare us!!!!

This movie brought me to tears, you are talking to the girl who has never cried in a movie before. I was honestly crying during the whole movie of happiness and sadness. Its the fact that she got back on her board no matter what anyone said. She had obstacles in her life that she overcame to live her life.

The music used in this movie was really happy and contributed to the tears during the movie, I loved the song "Runaway" by Matt Kearney, It was the acting,script and directing that made the movie!!!

Hop!!!!

Hey guys, Last weekend was a big movie weekend, but I wanted to save this review for today because it suits it perfectly!! Todays easter!! So I'd like to do a review for the movie Hop.

I know most of you guys probably are like "Hop!!! Thats a kids movie and I CANNOT BE SEEN WATCHING THIS!!!"!!! Well its actually not the worst movie ever!!

Okay starting, this movie has Russell Brand, who is super funny! He kept me laughing throughout the whole movie it also has the actor James Marsden (Cyclopes in X men, the price in Enchanted) who is pretty funny as well!!! Have you ever watched the Big Bang Theory... It has the actress Kaley Cuoco who plays Penny!!! 

I am going to make this review short and sweet :).. If your little sibling wants to see a movie... Pick Hop!!! It has some humor in it and the animation is really good.. The music is good tooo... But make sure you bring chocolate this film will make you want to crave chocolate like there is no tomorrow!!!

Source Code Review

 I finally saw the movie Source Code!!!! I have been waiting so long to see it and I finally saw it!!!

The movie source code is about a soldier who enters something called a source code, where he enters the last 8 minutes of someone else's life during a bombing. He then tries to figure out who is the bomber of the train so the next attacks can be prevented. Here is the trailer.

The movie Source Code has the actor Jake Gyllenhaal who I find, is a really good actor. (Price of persia, The day after tomorrow). I find that he portrayed the person really well and that his acting was well done. The woman in the movie, Michelle Monaghan did a really good job playing the person.


When the movie first started, when I saw the title credits I wasn't that impressed. I thought those could've been done better. But then when I saw the train, I knew the movie was going to be good.


Source Code was a movie with a wonderful script and screenplay. I has no idea what was going to happen next and it was unpredictable, which I love. Certain scenes were a shock for me because I did not see it coming. This movie isn't one of those confusing time travel movies, it is easy to understand, but not too simple.The movie wasn't scary, just a bit of bloody scenes.


I loved the music in this movie that was used to portray the emotion in the film and the editing was really well done. I went with a friend and she was crying during the film!!!! That is how much the editing and music impacted the way she felt.


Overall the movie Source Code is a movie for people who like Sci-Fi,Action,Mystery with a hint of romance!! I would recommend it!!

Tuesday April 12th

Hey guys!!! I was thinking today and I forgot that I dident recommend my favorite t.v series!!! Well one of them!!

I love the vampire diaries!! The storyboard is cool and suspenseful and keeps you on edge!! The music is awesome and the cinematography is amazing! I just thought I'd like to say that!!

Catch it Thursday nights on the CW I think at 7:00

Also source code.... I told you in the blog post 2 weeks ago that I really wanted to see it!! Sadly I was extremely sick so I couldn't see it last week!!! I will try to see it and get the review posted ASAP!!!

Did you know a spy kids 4 is coming out???? Also I have a book review to do later on. I am reading a book called the white mountains for lititure circles and it looks pretty interesting !!!

Taylor Swift has came out with 3 albums, Taylor Swift,Fearless and Speak Now. My favourite albums are Fearless and Speak Now, Fearless with a more country vive and speak now with a pop vive.

I will say my favourite songs from her "Speak Now" album today!!!! My favourites are:

I LOVE THIS SONG!!! I just love the melody and how Taylor Swift sings it!!!

#2 Better Than Revenge!!!

I love this song because it shows a whole new side of Taylor Swifts singing!!

I also found a cover for this song that I think is really good too :)

#3 Long Live!!!

This song gives me the feeling of happiness! I would imagine this song to be in a castle and at a very happy moment...

Passengers Movie Review

So... Last Night I couldn't decide what to watch, so I decided to watch the movie Passengers. The movie Passengers is about a plane crash where a counsellor (Anne Hathaway) has to help them. She then finds herself at the root of the mystery.

I have to say that passengers was confusing for me. I was trying to piece the pieces together at the end, but it was hard. I am sure that if I watched it again, I would be able to understand the movie better.

I thought that the way the film was done, the shots and the camera angles really conveyed the mystery and suspense into the film. Anne Hathaway did a really good job acting in this movie.

Passengers is one of those movies that would be perfect for someone who likes mystery and suspense throughout the whole film. This is like a physiological mystery.

If you couldn't catch onto Inception, I wouldn't recommend this to you.

So how was April fools day??? Did anyone get you bad or did you trick them???? Well I set a reminder so no one could trick me!!!

So this week my recommended movie is going to be the movie Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.I know.... Its kinda not the newest movie out yet.. But when I saw the new poster for p2.. I had to recommend it!!In my opinion its the best movie yet!!!

I just started reading the book Beautiful creatures. Its good... Slow at first but then it speeds up and gets more exciting...Im not done it yet though.. Ill tell you guys how it was after i am finished.

So the song I recommend for this week is called "Alligator Sky" by Owl City!! I love the tune!!! Also did you know that Owl City covered the song "Enchanted" By Taylor Swift????(So Sweet!!)

I love this album!!!! (Besides the swearing)!!! The songs are such a good break from the repetitive pop songs these days!!

Limitless Review

Hey guys,I saw the movie limitless today and here is my review for it:

Limitless is a movie about a pill that you can take to become super-smart and use your full brain capacity.

Limitless is the must see movie for boys and men. I went with my dad and another friend and they both liked it. I, personally thought that it was O.K.

I loved the cinematography of this film. The camera angles were really cool and the introduction titles were even cooler. The cuts of the film were very original and were really creative.

The music really expressed the emotion of this film.

If you don't like gore, I would recommend to stay away from this movie. There were many bloody scenes with fights and other stuff. ( Including them stabbing a needle into someones eye!!)

I loved the concept: to take a pill and be able to think your way out of things. It was so creative and so many things could be done with that concept!!!!!

The storyline was creative and original. I found it a tiny bit hard to understand, but thats just me, you will probably understand it.


Overall, if you like movies about superpowers and super intelligence and don't mind a bit of gore,this movie is for you.

Also this is a THRILLER MOVIE!!! and it is rated 14A so if you are below 14 you need an adult to come with you!!!! There is some bad language, with a couple uses of the F word and lots of uses of the S word (which means poop).....

Hey Guys, This week I will do my weekly recommendation list:

Book: The book I will recommend this week is a book called Soul Surfer, If you don't know what it is about, it is about a girl named Bethany Hamilton. This is a book written by her as well. Bethany's arm got bittin off by a shark while she was surfing, and she went into the hosipital. She thought she would never be able to surf again with 1 arm missing, but she never gave up and she started surfing. This book is her story and it is very enjoyable and heartwarming...Here is the movie trailer to see what is is all about. I would recommend to read the book first!!!!!!! I always do!!

Movie: This week I will recommend the movie 127 Hours.This movie is about a man who gets trapped by a boulder for more then 5 days. 

Lots of people who get claustrophobic may not enjoy this movie, but I found it very well done. This event actually happened in real life, and its interesting to know how he survived  it.

This movie is rather gruesome, but it is what you would have to do in that situation. 

(This event happened in real life and was made into a book.)

This movie really opened my eyes to safety. The man didn't tell anyone, not even his mom where he was going. If he did he could of easily prevented this incident.Also this movie described the importance of water using various film techniques.

Music: As I said last week, I recommend songs that I like. Not necessarily the hit songs. This week I recommend the song "Long Shot" by Kelly Clarkson. It is a very upbeat song that has a very catchy rhythm.

I also enjoy the song "My Life Would Suck Without You" by Kelly Clarkson. Kelly Clarkson is very talented and got recognized by winning american idol. But she has now turned into a very well known artist!!!!!

March Break

Hey Guys!!

Can you believe that March break is gonna end soon? I can't! It whizzed by!!!!!
Well as you know, more new movies are coming to theatres!!!!

Limitless is coming out today!!! It looks very good and I will try to see it and get a review done for it!!

Oh and on April 1st I can't wait for Source Code! it looks like a good movie with all the different genres!!!
