Experimenting With Fireflies at night.

Recently, I was watching the beautiful, stormy sunset and I noticed little bugs flickering in a light ahead. Inspired by this, I decided to play with shutter speeds and focus to create this, a photo of my imagination.

GO KARTS

I woke up this morning thinking "Holy moly, the summers almost over!!". Today I went swimming twice, first time the water was super duper calm and clear, the second time it was murky and extremely wavy. I saw 2 very scary fish, but I got over that.

After my morning swim, we went go Karting!!!! Go Karting is sort of like car racing, except for there are not cars, and since you start at different times, its technically not racing. I had a really good time, except for the fact that the person gave me the slowest car. It was by chance that my brother (who was in a lower level than me) got a faster car than both me and my dad. Also, these annoying peeps kept on showing off that they had the fastest cars out there and drove my brother and I crazy. They.Will.Pay (Evil Laugh)

After go Karting, it was exhaustingly hot.Mom, I know you are probably going to kill us, but after my brother and I made a HUGE ice cream sundae complete with cookies, syrup and brownies and shared it.


After our 2nd swim, I hit a wave in the face and swallowed TONS of water. Now I am sitting and blogging!!! Hows your day going???

Update on the cats+ midsummer update

Hello :)

How is your summer doing? I hope its fantastic, like mine is turning out to be. In ONE summer i have had so many awesome experiences with family and friends from going to Canada's Wonderland to seeing my all-time favourite artist OWL CITY/ADAM YOUNG in concert. 

I still can't believe its already August, seriously where has the summer gone? It seems like just yesterday was the last day of school! Next year I will be all off to high school doing what I love, so I am still super duper excited for that!!!

This summer we have also found many cats (if you haven't seen my instagram updates). About 6 cats, but then they went down to 3 were hanging out in our cottage backyard. They are the cutest!!! Their names are Scat, Charlie and I nickname one butter beer!! So we fed them a bit but choose to get them with shots and stuff so they wouldn't die when we came home. We were planning to adopt one, but sadly today I had an allergy test (I get symptoms when I eat certain fruits) and turns out I have a strong allergy to cats. Out of all animals cats!!! So, I guess we aren't adopting cats!! I actually had a lot of reactions on my arms for trees and certain parts of nature. I do have an apple allergy and pepper + kiwi allergy. Lastly I am happy to say I have a minor allergy with fish! I hate fish so this makes me happy! I am super upset about the cats though, because I was so excited to adopt one! I guess it wasn't meant to be....

Lastly, I have camp soon so I will be on a technology break! Feel free to tell me your address family and friends so I can mail you! I hope your summer is just as good as mine is going!!!

Schools Out!

Can you believe it? I can't. Im serious. It seemed like yesterday we were starting school. Anyway ill be busy for the first 2 weeks of school, but after that i'll try to post often. I will review the movies: Sucker Punch, Harry Potter and the deathly hallows p2, Cowboys & aliens, Another Earth and plenty more so stay tuned.

Ugh... I have this awful feeling when school ends. I just want to go back for some reason.

Saturday!!!

So happy Saturday! I am so happy that school is almost over! Well I love school-work, I like to be busy,but at the end of the year stuff tends to get a little tiresome. Teachers don't do anything with us, really. On Friday we had our last math class, now Monday is pretty much going to be the last school day. We have a trip on Tuesday and Wednesday is the last day.

So my week was fine. Do you know why I am happy? I won 4 awards!!! Im not graduating or anything but at the awards ceremony, I got 4 awards: Math achievement award, English achievement award, honour roll and french effort!! Yay! 

Im also Really Sorry! I wasn't able to watch The Art Of Getting By, for apparently it had so many bad reviews that they took it out of my theatres for this weekend. I will try though!

Another thing, the tree of life looks really good. So I added it to my top 7 (now 8) movies to see this summer! Looks amazing!!!!!!
